KTUB

The Kirkland Teen Union Building is a recreation, resource, and arts center that strives to meet and exceed the social and cultural needs of our community’s young people.The KTUB boasts a youth-run café and store, two stages for live music, photography darkroom, recording studio, technology lab and an art studio. There is no membership fee to join the KTUB! Last year, the KTUB served more than 5,500 young people with more than 27,800 opportunities to participate in our programs. 25 youth participated in job training and internship programs and 150+ KTUB members volunteered more than 1,600 hours.The KTUB is the product of many years of hard work by the youth of Kirkland, the Kirkland Youth Council, the City of Kirkland, and Friends of Youth, a non-profit organization. Managed and operated by Friends of Youth, the KTUB also works with various community groups to offer programs and opportunities for young people.
