Booking

Want to book a show at the KTUB?

Send us a copy of your music! We encourage and prefer Myspace, Bandcamp, or website links, which you can send to BOOKING@KTUB.ORG.

Physical demos can be mailed to:

ATTN: Booking
Kirkland Teen Union Building
348 Kirkland Ave.
Kirkland, WA 98033

Please allow two weeks before following up on your booking requests, and understand that bands that haven’t gone through our Bandpool process are last to be considered for shows.

We host mainstage shows on Friday and Saturday nights and do not book concerts on weekdays. Please keep in mind that the KTUB receives more booking requests than we are able to accommodate and are typically booked 3 months in advance.

Full details on our venue’s technical specs are available upon request.

Band Pool

If you are in a local band with at least one member that is under the age of 20, we encourage you to get involved with Band Pool. This is the quickest and easiest way to get booked at KTUB. Band Pool meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm at KTUB. Each band plays their one-song demo for the group. After listening, each band gets four votes to use on the four bands they think should get to play the show. Votes are tallied, and the top bands are booked to play a show at KTUB the following month. Beyond just a way for new musicians to acquire gigs, Band Pool exists as an arena for the all-ages music community to network, share new ideas, get advice from professionals, and gain access to resources to improve and promote their music.

Café Stage and Open Mic

KTUB’s second stage offers a low-key, café-style venue for solo performers and small groups of all kinds. We also host monthly Open Mic nights on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7pm (Sign-ups start at 6pm). Other Café stage performances take place on Wednesday afternoons and are free to the public. If you are interested in performing at the Café, feel free to get in touch with our Café coordinator at cafe@ktub.org.

*Please note that the Café stage is very small and can not accommodate a full band set up.
