Intro to Arabic
Tuesdays 8-9pm February 26th to March 25th
$10 suggested donation for course materials
Against the war but don’t know anything about Middle Eastern culture? Want to get a feel for a language that’s written from right to left? Interested in breaking language barriers and learning about different countries? Together let’s open our eyes and learn about the Arabic language and the countries whose names are flying past us in the newspaper—beyond war and politics.
In the weekly class we’ll be learning some basic Arabic, playing games, watching Arab films and having discussions. No experience necessary, just a desire to have fun and learn about something new. Bring your friends!
This culture and language workshop will be taught by Laura Tan and guests. May include optional field trips. To enroll, contact KTUB’s Program Coordinator Chris Hong directly.
