No prior live sound experience is necessary to take advantage of this hands-on sound reinforcement workshop. Spend an afternoon with Audio Coordinator and Live Sound professional Nelson Barnard learning the basics of live sound engineering and mixing. Topics will include audio system routing, microphone placement, mixing board routing, monitor mixing, compression/gating, and more. There will also be practical advice on how to run a successful sound check (making the band really  happy), manage set changeovers, and furthering your career as an audio engineer.
